A unique Shin-Tokyo system
Eligibility: Persons whose visa type is "Student" at the time of acceptance to the Shin-Tokyo Dental Technician College
With this system, students can pay course fees and practical fees in installments over the period between their acceptance and their enrollment. Please note that other fees cannot be paid in installments.
Application requirements Your visa type at the time of acceptance to the Shin-Tokyo Dental Technician College must be "Student"

Incentive system for students passing the N1 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)
A unique Shin-Tokyo system
Eligibility: Persons whose visa type is "Student"
This incentive system is for students who pass the JLPT N1 before enrolling or while enrolled.
Application requirements Students who pass the JLPT N1 before July of their final year, including before enrolling
How to apply Present a copy of your JLPT N1 certificate.
Installment payment period 100,000 yen course fee reduction in the academic year following the year in which you passed the exam (* If you passed the exam in your final year, you will receive a class fee reduction provided that you passed on or before the July exam.)

* The tuition reduction will only be applied once.

Application Conditions I Regardless of whether they are international students or foreign nationals, applicants must meet all of the following conditions.

(1) Being 18 years or older upon entry into the school
(2) Having received 12 years of compulsory education at school outside Japan. In the case of having graduated from a junior high school-equivalent educational institution after 10 or 11 years, they must have completed studies at an educational institution stipulated as a "preparatory education curriculum" by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Application Conditions II Those applying with the residential status "Student" must meet any one of the following conditions.

(1) Having passed N2 or N1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)
(2) Having a score of 200 or more (total for reading comprehension, listening, and listening-reading comprehension) for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
(3) Having studied Japanese for at least 6 months at a Japanese language education institution (Japanese language school) that has received notice from the Minister of Justice
(4) Having had at least 1 year of education at an elementary school, junior high school, high school, junior college, or university domestically in Japan

Steps to Passing the Examination

Take part in an open campus session.

Learn about jobs and schools at special counseling sessions for international students or at trial lessons.

Do an AO entry on the Internet.

You can do an AO entry on your smartphone or from the school's website.

Receive an AO interview.

In the AO interview, school staff check the applicant's Japanese language ability, the applicant's reasons for wanting to study at the school, and the applicant's goals.

Applicants receive a certificate granting them permission to submit an AO admission application.

The certificate will be issued to applicants whose sense of purpose and aptitude (including Japanese-language ability) were approved at the interview.

Applicant submits application for admission.

Please include the certificate granting permission to submit an AO admission application along with the application.

Undergo selection process.

● Applicants who wish to take the scholarship examination can come to the school on their selection day and take the examination.
● Applicants can choose one category for the scholarship examination from the four categories of practical skills, writing, SPI, and Japanese.
● For the type of scholarship exam, you can choose from either Practical Skills or Japanese.

Applications received notification of whether they have passed or not.

An "Interview Exemption Certificate" is issued to applicants who receive an interview at an open campus event.
※The school will check applicants' Japanese language ability even at interviews at open campus events.

Please include the"Interview Exemption Certificate" and "Aptitude Test Exemption Certificate" along with the application.
