Application Conditions I |
Regardless of whether they are international students or foreign nationals, applicants must meet all of the following conditions. (1) Being 18 years or older upon entry into the school (2) Having received 12 years of compulsory education at school outside Japan. In the case of having graduated from a junior high school-equivalent educational institution after 10 or 11 years, they must have completed studies at an educational institution stipulated as a "preparatory education curriculum" by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. |

(1) Having passed N2 or N1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) (2) Having a score of 200 or more (total for reading comprehension, listening, and listening-reading comprehension) for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) (3) Having studied Japanese for at least 6 months at a Japanese language education institution (Japanese language school) that has received notice from the Minister of Justice (4) Having had at least 1 year of education at an elementary school, junior high school, high school, junior college, or university domestically in Japan |

You can do an AO entry on your smartphone or from the school's website.

In the AO interview, school staff check the applicant's Japanese language ability, the applicant's reasons for wanting to study at the school, and the applicant's goals.

The certificate will be issued to applicants whose sense of purpose and aptitude (including Japanese-language ability) were approved at the interview.

An "Interview Exemption Certificate" is issued to applicants who receive an interview at an open campus event.
